Packing Items

We have used Hazelwood for two major moves in the past year and we couldn’t be more impressed by their professionalism. In each case they were punctual and courteous, and they took great care of our furniture, much of it rare and valuable. They made an initial visit two months prior to the first move and brought everything we needed to start the process of organizing and packing, and then a team showed up early on moving day and boxed up the rest, loading everything into large vaults without a single dent or scratch to the house or our possessions. When those vaults were unpacked a year later, everything was in pristine condition. We’re very grateful and we won’t hesitate to call them again.

It couldn’t have been a better experience! I’ve read the daunting review and just can’t imagine where that could have come from. Moving is difficult (dare I say horrible) experience, both physically and emotionally, but the folks at Hazelwood made it easier than we could have imagined. Everyone is so friendly, competent, efficient and caring. From the first telephone contact, through the estimate (which by the way, was significantly lower than the two others), the packing, unpacking (and finding everything in perfect condition) all of our contacts with the folks at Hazlewood were exemplary. Many of the items we moved were extremely delicate – including old furniture, paintings, glassware and many large plants – yes, plants. The movers were cheerful and simply took care of everything we hadn’t packed (or couldn’t pack). They were wonderful. At the destination the movers cheerfully and efficiently moved the furniture, several times, to several different locations until the right location was determined. Above and beyond what we would have expected. Hazlewood was recommended to me by a friend who uses them every time she moves, both locally and out of state. We strongly and without any hesitation recommend Hazlewood for any move, local or otherwise.

Hazelwood did a fantastic job for us, packing and loading everything for our move to Santa Barbara, and also routing some furniture to family members in IL. Everything went very smoothly, and our moving team was easy to work with and very professional. I definitely recommend them!
