Call (805) 963-4493 and we’ll help you decide what level of help makes sense for your move.

Leave the heavy protection to us. Every piece of furniture is blanket-wrapped as standard practice, upholstered pieces are stretch-wrapped, and fragile or high-value items can be custom-crated. For appliances, we ask that they be clean, dry, and disconnected before moving day. Our crew handles the rest.

Yes, a few things can’t ride along, mainly the items you’d expect: drugs, alcohol, weapons, and ammunition, plus flammables, liquids, and anything perishable that could deteriorate in transit. We also recommend keeping jewelry, medications, and essential documents with you personally. If you’re wondering about a specific item, just call (805) 963-4493 and ask. After 108 years, there’s not much we haven’t been asked.

Perishable and frozen foods can’t travel in the truck, since anything that can deteriorate should not be shipped. Many of our customers use the weeks before a move to eat through the pantry or share what’s left with neighbors and local food programs. If you’re unsure whether a particular item can go, call us at (805) 963-4493 and we’ll give you a straight answer.
